Hazel Crest School District 152.5 is seeking an indivual to serve as the Curriculum Coordinator for K - 8th grade district. Job Summary:
The Curriculum Coordinator will assist and support the Department of Teaching and Learning under the direct supervision of the Director of Teaching and Learning. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to coordinating teaching staff activities such as various PDs for teachers and staff; attend curriculum meetings, oversee Summer Learning, curriculum development, ordering books and materials for each building, evaluate teachers, planning and provision of district-wide professional development and PLCs. Qualifications:
Master's Degree, from an accredited college or university preferred, with training in administration, supervision, and curriculum development at the K-8 level. The candidate must also possess a proven record in currculum and instruction, assessments, data analysis including planning and implementation of common assessments,and leading professional development. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with students, staff and parents; a strong background in K-8 education; experience in staff and program development; and an ability to work well in a community with high expectations for its students and schools.
