Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm or 3:00 pm - 11:30 pmPosition Summary: Under general supervision performs a variety of general maintenance duties which include, inspecting equipment, handling any necessary repairs, performing preventative maintenance, custodial work, perform other related work as assigned.
Essential Duties: Collect and sort chips buckets and bins according to the material type, and stage for the chip spinning process.
Execute chip spinning process to separate chips and oil.
Organize recyclable bins for pick up.Process the oil utilizing the Fluid Recovery Unit, filtering the oil to remove contaminants, such as metal shavings or debris.
Ensure the fluid recovery unit is properly maintained and functions effectively.Regularly conduct inspections to ensure the fluid recovery unit is properly maintained and functioning properly.
Regularly clean and replace filters or other components as needed.
Properly dispose of waste materials according to environmental regulations.
Keep track of the inventory of oils and chemicals in the dispensing area.
Ensure there are no leaks or spills.
Follow safety measures and protocols when handling oils and chemicals.
Initiate the procurement process when inventory levels are low.
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials for quantity, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Verify the accuracy of documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders.
Organize and store the received materials in designated areas or designated locations.
Regularly empty trash cans throughout the facility to prevent overflow and maintain cleanliness.
Properly dispose of waste in designated containers or trash bags.
Clean and sanitize toilets bowls, urinals, and sinks to ensure a thorough cleaning.
Check and restock restroom supplies including toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizers.
Clean oily pans and stage in the drying area for re-use.
Maintain pan washing bath and change out bath mixture regularly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.Education / Experience: 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Must have previous experience in facilities maintenance, custodial, or similar role preferred.
Language Skills: Will be required to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, to write correspondence, memos, and schedule; to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and fellow staff.Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required.
Environment/Noise: Most work is performed indoors.
Some work may be performed outside in all types of weather, in open/enclosed drivers' seats or cabs, or on land.
Is exposed to noise, vibration, dust, oil, dirt, and fumes.
Physical Demands: Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.Prolonged periods of standing.
Occasional periods of walking and standing.
Must be able to lift to 20 - 40 -pounds at a time.Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches.
Consistently turning and moving hands, arms, feet, and legs.
