Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated Custody Operations Specialist to join our Money Movement Team.
This Custody Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of bill payments for our trustee accounts and assisting with outgoing check processing.
This ideal candidate will work closely with administrative teams, managing outgoing funds and ensure payments are executed based on trustee account requirements.
This role involves resolving emails, invoices, and documentations.
Receive and deposit incoming funds from admin team or clients to ensure proper allocation for trustee account.
Review and validate invoices and payment documentation to ensure accuracy before processing handle overnight checks and ensure timely and deliver of proper documentation to correct payer.
Monitor email communications related to bill payments, outgoing checks, and other account activities.
Address any discrepancy or issues related to fund allocation.
Effectively and accurately coordinate, manage and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines.
Understands and achieves established Service Level Agreements.
Accountable for compliance with established department policies and procedures.
Perform other related administrative des as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience
Two or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services, for assigned area(s) Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) client accounts and products
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and reviewing financial documents
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams
Ability to maintain confidential and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Problem solving skills with ability to resolve decencies or issues efficiently.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first.
The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
Pay Range: $23.46 - $31.25 - $34.38
