### **Job Description**

Tractor Supply is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Customer Care Officer to join our dynamic team. This part-time position offers unique opportunities for customer interaction and community engagement from the comfort of your home. As a key player in our customer service department, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional support to our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering loyalty to our brand.

### **Responsibilities**

- **Customer Interaction:** Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring a positive shopping experience for each customer.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify customer issues, provide accurate information, and navigate complex situations to arrive at satisfactory resolutions. This may involve troubleshooting product issues and managing customer complaints.
- **Product Knowledge:** Develop comprehensive knowledge of Tractor Supply products and services to effectively assist customers, making recommendations based on their needs and inquiries.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, process orders, and document issues and resolutions in our customer management system.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, such as sales and fulfillment, to ensure customer needs are met and maintain seamless communication across teams.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.
- **Feedback Loop:** Gather customer feedback to identify trends and potential areas for improvement, and communicate this feedback to management.
- **Mentorship and Leadership:** Take the initiative to provide guidance and support to new team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting a culture of learning and growth.

### **Requirements**

- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role, preferably in retail or e-commerce settings. Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems is a plus.
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in customer service or related fields preferred.
- **Skills:**
- **Soft Skills:** Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate leadership qualities through proactive problem-solving and mentoring.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient with computer applications and online communication tools. Familiarity with online customer service platforms is highly beneficial.
- **Personality Traits:** Must be resourceful in navigating problem-solving with minimal guidance, and dedicated to fostering customer relationships and brand loyalty.
- **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication abilities to convey information clearly and effectively to customers.
- **Adaptability:** Ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities in a remote work environment.
