Customer Care Representative - Part Time

Location: Smithfield, RI

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Compensation: $18-$22 per hour, plus potential commission on closing new business and hitting certain benchmarks

Start Date: Targeting December 2024 / January 2025

Job Description:

As a Customer Care Representative at Debug Pest Control, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll help handle customer inquiries, schedule appointments, resolve issues, and contribute to creating a positive customer experience.


Responsibilities: Respond promptly and courteously to incoming calls.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers.
Schedule service appointments efficiently.
Resolve customer issues or escalate when necessary.
Maintain up-to-date customer records and promptly update account information.
Collaborate with the team to exceed customer expectations.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude in all interactions.
What You Bring: Previous customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence, decisiveness, and sound judgment in various situations.
Proficiency with email, messaging, and phone systems.
Typing speed of at least 35 WPM and familiarity with 10-key.
Adaptability to a changing work environment.
Bilingual abilities are a plus (not required).

*This position does have the potential to go "Full-Time" once we get into the "busy season" of Spring/Summer - however, if you prefer a part-time role in a long term capacity, this is something we are comfortable with as well.


Requirements

What This Role Needs: 2 years of customer service experience.
2 years experience in customer scheduling and/or call center operations.
Proficient in multitasking, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
High proficiency in email, instant messaging, and various electronic communication tools.
Exceptional written communication skills, including spelling and punctuation.
Capable of sitting for extended periods.
These skills and experiences help, but are not required: Previous experience in a customer care for for a pest control company.
Experience with Field Routes or Service Titan.
Experience using Slack.
Experience using Google Business Enterprise (Gmail for business).
