As a Customer Program Manager at Maersk, you will manage a regional and international portfolio of large-scale, multi-faceted projects. Your role is pivotal in adding value and creating a competitive advantage for our clients while driving additional revenue streams for the organization. You will own the end-to-end performance of domestic and global service delivery, ensuring our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.
In this role, you will: Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain solution-building relationships with customers—own program commitments within regional and global teams.
Operational Excellence: Provide oversight and guidance on operational solution design performance. Conduct process reviews and site visits to identify and correct process errors.
Performance Metrics: Ensure internal KPIs align with customer-agreed KPIs. Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels through effective operational solution design.
Collaboration: Work with global account teams and other departments to develop and consult on value-added solutions that streamline processes and increase productivity.
Financial Management: Support the establishment of productivity and profitability baselines. Conduct financial audits and manage outstanding balances.
People Development: Support team leaders in onboarding, training, and developing the operations team. Maintain a pipeline for Program Management and Operations Team Leader roles.
Customer Service Excellence: Act as the account's point of contact for operational escalations. Conduct regular customer service calls and participate in business reviews.
What you bring: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
Experience: Proven track record in operational management, including experience with large-scale warehousing and automated sorter capabilities.
Skills: Strong communication and influence skills. Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence stakeholders. Experience with Business Improvement and Lean tools.
Attributes: Passion for driving operational excellence, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a collaborative team player.
