Responsibilties: Maintain clinical records and assure timely and accurately processing and completion of records.
Provide clerical and phone support.
Maintain patient records.
Assure documents are filed accurately and on a regular basis.
Audit patient discharge charts thoroughly and follow up to provide missing data on a consistent basis.
Photocopy materials, correspondence and/or reports as requested.
Make and distribute client records.
Order patient supplies in a timely manner.
Assure that supply room is neat and clean, and proper inventories are maintained.
Responsible for ordering materials and maintaining SOC packets necessary for admissions.
Log faxes in appropriate lab book and verify that lab report is received.
Fax blood work / labs on a daily basis and assure log books are accurate and complete.
Answer phone in a courteous manner.
Take accurate and complete phone messages and relay to the appropriate party.
Provide assistance, guidance and/or direction to visitors, patients and staff.
Ascertains the nature of their business; assists and/or directs visitors and patients to the appropriate location.
Assist Medical Records Coordinator in the maintenance of employee files.
Ensure all employee filing/scanning is up to date and timely.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Demonstrate flexibility with job responsibilities in all areas.
Adheres to HMHs Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Lifts a minimum of 10 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 10 lbs.

Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong Customer Service Skills Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
