Responsibilities
•Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper
•Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects
•Research and resolve coverage questions
•Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically
•Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company... both paper records as well as our many different software programs
•Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling
•Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed
•Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved
•Track current marketing activities, so you can appropriately respond to insurance-related inquiries with all of the resources at your disposal
•Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied
•Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
•Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders
Qualifications
•You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken
•This is an "in-person" position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation
•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator
•Type quickly and accurately
•Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
•Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules
•Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest
•Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment)
•We will train and educate the successful candidate.
However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus
•Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems
•High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
•A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred
•Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
•Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required
