Objective of the Position: Sets up and operates specialized equipment, such as the Weil, TTE, Stuffers, Pipe Benders, Eagle Line, Comas, in the production of exhaust systems by performing the following duties.
Essential Accountabilities: Responsible for the overall performance of the specific manufacturing equipment assigned.Expected to make necessary adjustments to optimize performance throughout a production run.Expected to make effective tooling and equipment change-overs in accordance with production schedules.Responsible for performing Preventative maintenance tasks as indicated on the appropriate TPM task list.Responsible to ensure adherence to ENA quality policies and procedures and that product Quality expectations are met.Responsible for any data input and recording necessary to support communication and performance improvement.Expected to actively participate in continuous improvement activities and assist in developing positive communications.Operates equipment producing parts for production.Responsible for maintaining 5S in department and periodically participating with audit process. Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Minimum two years' experience related experience and/or training in manufacturing setting.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency in Microsoft OfficeEntry level knowledge in welding and metal forming techniques a plus.Basic mechanical aptitude. Working Conditions: This position involves working indoors around mechanical and hazards, fumes, irritants, with exposure to cold, heat and high noise levels under adverse conditions.
