Reconciles charge errors with Business Office and assists Medical Records staff in gathering required data. Assists with supply acquisition. Is expected to be dependable and responsible and to comply with all personnel policies set forth by Hendrick Medical Center.Performs diagnostic cardiovascular examinations per physician orders and according to department protocols. Generates preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Reviews physician reports, charts and charges procedures electronically. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care. Effectively interacts with patient and significant others, while maintaining professional standards. Interacts with Cardiologists and referring physicians according to applicable departmental policies regarding critical findings. Exhibits excellent critical thinking skills. Interacts with managers to discuss significant findings, clinical situations, workflow status and equipment malfunctions. Often works without direct supervision and must have outstanding work ethics and integrity. Must be registered in both Adult Cardiac and Vascular Sonography by ARDMS or CCI.
