Cyber Security Consultant

Overview: Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, writing, and shaping cybersecurity policies, with a specific focus on technical tools such as Forescout and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, and the ability to translate technical requirements into comprehensive policies. Location: Alexandria, VA - hybrid three days a week onsite Key Responsibilities: Develop and write cybersecurity policies and procedures in alignment with DoD regulations and standards. Collaborate with technical teams to understand the implementation and integration of Forescout and Cisco ISE. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for policy improvements. Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity guidelines and frameworks. Provide expertise in the configuration and management of Forescout and Cisco ISE. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on new policies and procedures. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity policy development, preferably within a government or military environment. In-depth knowledge of Forescout and Cisco ISE. Active TS/SCI Clearance Skills: Policy writing and documentation Risk assessment and management Technical expertise in Forescout and Cisco ISE Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and training abilities
