Position Overview: The Sales Executive at Calian IT & Cyber Solutions is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing key national accounts and expanding business in the security and data/AI sectors. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, developing strategic account plans, and converting customers to the Microsoft Sentinel platform. The Sales Executive collaborates with internal technical teams to deliver tailored security and data/AI solutions, from initial engagement through to contract closure. They will also focus on business development, targeting both existing clients (80%) and new prospects (20%), leveraging marketing events and qualified leads to drive new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Joint Go-to-Market Initiatives:Collaborate with Microsoft to develop joint marketing and sales campaigns.Coordinate and participate in co-selling and co-marketing activities.Formulate strategic presentations and proposals to advance joint initiatives.Internal Collaboration:Drive collaboration efforts between sales, marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and support for joint Microsoft initiatives.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.Provide training and enablement to internal teams on Microsoft solutions.Revenue Growth and Incentives:Drive revenue growth through strategic partnership initiatives with Microsoft.Achieve revenue targets and objectives as defined by the strategic plan.Fully maximise available funding from Microsoft to support joint initiatives and revenue growth.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on managing strategic accounts.Experience in IT services/consulting.Proven track record of successfully achieving business objectives.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT solutions, or related technology fields.Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.Bonus (the nice to haves): Knowledge of cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and other relevant Microsoft technologies.Experience in developing and executing joint go-to-market strategies.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Required Behaviours/Characteristics: Strong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Adaptability and dealing with ambiguity.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Highly organised with attention to detail.Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Company Description: Calian IT & Cyber Solutions (ITCS) is a global cybersecurity, digital healthcare, application modernization, and IT solution provider.
