Overview:
Our client is hiring for a full-time Cybersecurity Manager in San Diego! This role will have governance over all systems and network security throughout the enterprise. Management and mentorship of small team, while collaborating with other team members for applications, network, and systems security. This is 100% onsite and preference is given to local candidates.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain security plan for network and all systems
Stay up to date on industry standards and trends, as well as threats
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintenance of cybersecurity systems
Interview and hire additional team members as necessary
Recommend security tools and software
Create and update documentation around security plans and protocols
Conduct penetration testing and networks scan do identify vulnerabilities
Collaborate with network team to ensure firewalls are optimized
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. 7 years of experience in a senior cyber security role.
Two years in a management or supervisory role
Strong Cisco knowledge
Strong communication skills with all levels, including executive team
CISSP preferred
Drug screen required

**Salary is DOE and is $125-150k plus discretionary bonus.
