3+ years' experience in or more of the various Dangerous Goods Shipping, Shipping process including packing and creating airway bills and shipping documents.
Must have a current certification to process IATA, DOT, and ocean DG freight.
Proven/demonstrated skills at providing first level work coordination and execution and growing and developing less experienced personnel, self and group problem identification and solving and Continuous Improvement Interpersonal skills and abilities to ensure successful, effective and positive interactions with all internal and external customers of the logistics discipline.
Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers.
Ability to address and resolve particularly difficult or contentious situations generally requiring cross-organizational alignment and/or sensitive cost, execution or supply/delivery matters.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able present ideas, concepts and proposals with a wide range of audiences at all levels both internal and external to the company.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Fork lift certification or ability to obtain fork lift certification preferred.
Working knowledge of ISO 9000+STDS / AS9100B-C / AS9110 Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn other applications such as Marshall - Ramco
