Soliant is seeking a contract SLP for the remainder of the school year. The applicant will be covering a caseload of about 50 K-8students. Additional information about the District and the caseload will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders Connecticut SLP license Additional information about the team, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives. As a education setting SLP, you will: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs. Determine eligibility for speech services, and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for childrenwith identified speech and language disorders. Develop individualized education plans (for childrenwith special education needs)and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations. Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns. Maintain accurate records for all childrenon the caseload. Provide reports of children'sprogress to parents. Organizecaseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
