Our client, a leader in the healthcare space, is in search of a Data Analyst, Cybersecurity Risk Management.
In this role, your key responsibility will be gathering, organizing and visualizing data to ensure it's clear and actionable.
We are looking for someone who is well-versed in ETL processes and data pipelines, focusing on how the data will be transformed and displayed for end-users.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of programming languages, technologies and manage both structured and unstructured data.
Data Analyst, Cybersecurity Risk Management Responsibilities: Extract and analyze security data from SIEM and other security tools to identify trends, metrics and potential threats Utilize SQL, Looker and BigQuery to query, aggregate and visualize large data sets for reporting and decision-making Monitor alerts and security events to identify patterns and anomalies, providing actionable insights to enhance security posture Collaborate with data warehousing teams to ensure efficient data flow and storage, optimizing the integration of security-related data for analysis Data Analyst, Cybersecurity Risk Management Requirements: Passionate about technology and continuous learning Skilled in BI and data visualization with examples of past work Enjoys solving complex problems and evaluating solution options Quick to learn and adapt to new challenges Strong collaborator across all levels Process-oriented with excellent data management and QA skills Able to translate business needs into effective data models and insights Proficient in presenting data through actionable reports Experienced with Looker/Google Data Studio Excellent communicator Bachelor's Degree in related field with 5+ years of experience OR Master's Degree in related field with 3+ years of experience Strong SQL expertise, Google BigQuery a plus Skilled in stored procedures, data evaluation and manipulation Experience with reports and dashboards using Looker Studio Ability to track metrics, identify trends and analyze incidents over time Familiar with CI/CD pipelines JavaScript knowledge helpful but not required Working with security systems is a plus but not required (SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.)
