As a Data Analyst at Last Bottle Wines Inc., Digital Beverage Group (DBG), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ecommerce operations. By managing and optimizing product data across all our retail properties, you will directly influence the customer experience and drive revenue growth. Your expertise in analyzing behavioral and transactional data will uncover insights that propel our business forward. You will collaborate with product and technology teams to develop data models and specifications and provide analysis on potential acquisition targets. You will be an essential part of a growing team that is a leading player in wine ecommerce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Own and execute processes for managing product data across internal databases and ecommerce systemsCollaborate with product and technology teams to develop data models and specifications for new and existing systemsAnalyze ecommerce behavioral and transactional data to identify trends and insightsAnalyze data from potential acquisition targets and make informed recommendations based on your analysisCompile and enter new product and pricing data into internal systems for ecommerce operations and training learning modelsEnsure data integrity and consistency across all retail properties and internal systemsProvide actionable insights and reports to support decision-making processesWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data into ecommerce platformsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in ecommerce or retailStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insightsProficient in SQL and experience with relational databasesFamiliarity with ecommerce platforms and data management toolsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to stakeholdersAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAttention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and qualityProficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data modeling and statistical analysisKnowledge of machine learning algorithms and training learning modelsUnderstanding of ecommerce merchandising and product data management Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
