Position Overview: We are seeking a Data Architect with a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional talent and experience to join our team in Seattle, WA.

In this role, you will have the distinct opportunity to shape and optimize our data architecture, guaranteeing its alignment with our business objectives and enabling informed decision-making.
What You'll Do: Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain our data architecture strategy, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure alignment with business goals.Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models for transactional, operational, and analytical systems to ensure data consistency and reliability.Data Integration: Design and implement end-to-end data integration solutions, consolidating data from various sources into a cohesive environment using Azure modern data stack technologies.Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure.Collaboration: Work closely with IT, software development, and business teams to understand data needs and provide technical guidance.Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data architecture performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure efficient data processing.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of our data architecture, models, and processes as a reference for the team.Experience and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Equivalent experience will also be considered.At least 8 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration is required.Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio and Erwin is critical.
Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies is highly desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary for success in this role.Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, are necessary.Demonstrated experience in managing data architecture projects from inception to completion.Understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements like GDPR and CCPA is appreciated.Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 USD
