Data Center Coordinator - Quant Trading Firm Chicago, Illinois FTE - Onsite - Some Travel Our leading, Tier 1 global quantitative trading client is seeking a motivated Data Center Coordinator to join our growing team.
Based in Chicago with occasional travel, this role involves maintaining a vast fleet of servers located in data centers worldwide.
Key responsibilities include coordinating installations and repairs with external vendors and handling multiple projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience repairing computers, racking equipment, and troubleshooting basic server and networking issues.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, communication with vendors, and the ability to work independently.
Shift work is required, with the majority of tasks done Friday nights through early Saturday.
