At Nike, it's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONPython and Spark programming for data processing and analysis.API Development and integration for data retrieval and management.Basic understanding and support of ML models and pipelines.Utilization of SQL, Airflow, Sagemaker, AWS, Github, and version control for effective data engineering solutions.WHAT YOU WILL DOEstablish database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for various database deliverables including conceptual design, logical database, capacity planning, and security policy.Document and communicate database design effectively.Evaluate and install database management systems, ensuring optimal performance.Code complex programs and derive logical processes on technical platforms.Build windows, screens, and reports, contributing to user interface and business application prototypes.Participate in quality assurance by developing and testing application code in a client-server environment.Provide expertise in devising, negotiating, and defending tables and fields in the database.Adapt business requirements into data and database specifications, collaborating with modeling/development staff and systems engineers.Develop an understanding of clients' original data and storage mechanisms, determining appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization.Establish how tables relate to each other and how fields interact within the tables for a relational model.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGMust Have:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.Strong background in engineering; this role is distinct from a data scientist position.Proficiency in Python, Spark, and ML algorithms/MLOps.Hands-on experience in productionizing and maintaining existing models.Ability to collaborate effectively with the data science team.Nice to Have:Exposure to GenAI tools and capabilities would be advantageous.
