Position Summary The Salvation Army Northern Division Headquarters (DHQ) in Roseville, MN is "Doing the Most Good" by supporting our worship and service centers, community outreach efforts, and housing programs that serve local communities.
The Data Entry Assistant is responsible for accurate data entry of Social Services programs into The Salvation Army Information Management System (SIMS) and The Salvation Army Mission Manager (TSAMM.)
The Data Entry Assistant will be assigned to work at The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters in Roseville, MN and/or a local Twin Cities Salvation Army location.
The position is time-limited with a duration of around six (6) months.
$17.00/hour, 29 hours/week 2445 Prior Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 Essential Functions (approximate time spent) Accurately and efficiently enter information into the SIMS database.
(40%) Verify the accuracy of data in SIMS and TSAMM.
(20%) Respond to inquiries regarding entered data.
(15%) Protect the confidentiality of all client records.
(10%) Maintain and secure received data and source documents, filing or routing source documents after entry.
(5%) Support the maintenance and integrity of the SIMS database.
(5%) Contact SIMS help desk to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
(5%) Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with a management information system, preferred.
Must pass background checks, possess a valid driver's license, and meet MVR requirements.

Travel/Driving Requirements Infrequent travel by agency or personal vehicle throughout the metro area to support the mission.
