Data Entry Clerk

Job Title: Data Entry Clerk We are looking for an enthusiastic member to join our client's team in a world renown oil and gas company. The data entry clerk will have the main duties of assisting a project manager in the Information Technology department by creating spreadsheets and keeping track of the status of projects and daily tasks.     Location – 100% on-site, downtown Houston, TX 77002 Responsibilities Inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases Uploading data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets Updating order statuses for projects Being detail meticulous and double-checking spreadsheets to make sure data was inputted correctly Keep information confidential Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents Apply data program techniques and procedures Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations Scan documents and print files, when needed Qualifications High school diploma with associates degree preferred 1+ years of experience in business process service delivery or a related field Strong typing skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
