The Human Resources organization at Citi is expanding the Data team and has an exciting opportunity forDataGovernance by DesignAnalyst.The role will report to the Head of Data Governance by Design andwillbe responsible forimplementingproactive data governancefor data assets early in the lifecycleandestablishmechanisms for continuous monitoring and improvement ofdatagovernance processes.
Responsibilities:
CollaboratecloselywithData Governance by Deign lead toestablishData Governanceby Design requirements for new initiatives.
Assess data governance needs for newinitiativesor changes toHR applications / processesandexecute activities toapply Data Governance by Design.
Administer and manage Jira backlog and activities to ensuretimelyexecution of Data Governance by Design initiatives.
Creating and managing reports within Jira tomonitorprogress, track issues, and communicate project status effectively.
Developing, customizing, andmaintainingJira Dashboardsto perform status reporting for different stakeholders using widgets and gadgets, as applicable.
Implementend to end executionactivitiesfor Data Governance byDesigninitiatives.
Develop execution plans for initiatives andensuredeliverablesare completedon time,identifyrisks,and provide consistent status reporting.
Build relationships withHRstakeholders andprovideinputs for developingstatus updatesto DataLeadershipforums.
Work closely withData Governanceby Designlead and the Data Program Enablement teamto ensure successful adaptation of Data GovernancebyDesignframework.
Contribute to monitoring activitiesto measurethe success of Data Governanceby Design framework andpartner onimprovement initiatives to enhance process.
Experience:
5+years of experience indata governance, preferably in the financial services industry
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data risk management principles
Knowledge and understanding of HR Data stronglypreferred.
Product Owner / Scrum Master Certification is a big plus.
Jira reportingexperience andskillssuch as creating and managing reports within Jira tomonitorprogress, track issues, and communicate project status effectively.
Proficiencyin Jira Query Language (JQL) to create customized, dynamic filters for reports.
Proficiencyin Jira bulk create and update functionality,capacitytracking and managing custom fields to captureprogram needs.
Ability to generate and analyze Agile Reportssuch asSprint burndown, epic burndown, velocity, and cumulative flowdiagrams.
Strong project management/ coordinationskills
Optimizeswork processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability toanticipateand balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, whilemonitoringtight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
Ability to communicate effectively.
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experiencerequired.
