In this role, you will work with important datasets in a national repository of medical data. To be considered, you'll need prior demonstrable experience in Data Integration, Data Analysis, and using Kettle ETL mapping.
This position is actively engaged in ongoing production data fixes (daily/weekly), and in resynchronization of our Medical Library data every six months. You should have working knowledge of AWS or setting up a cloud environment for training/testing purposes.
This Data Analyst will migrate medical data to AWS using an ETL tool. Your role will also include rewriting Oracle packages, procedures, & functions to PostgreSQL. Automation of release processes/packaging, reports, and insertion/inversion tasks are part of our cloud migration process, too.
This role will also be required to process daily/weekly tasks, report automations, and ad-hoc reports based on user requests.
Education and Experience sought is: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 4+ years of experience in database and integration design Experience working with SQL and ETL processes Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL (experience with other relational databases may be considered) Some experience with NoSQL databases, in particular DynamoDB or other AWS-hosted services Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, Java, and/or JavaScript Familiarity in a Linux environment This role requires eligibility for Public Trust, which will begin processing at time of selection
