Job Summary:North Stone is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Data Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. In this role, the SME will be responsible for overseeing the effective management, organization, and governance of data across the company. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data management frameworks, data quality standards, data integration, and database technologies, ensuring that North Stone's data assets are secure, accurate, and optimally leveraged to support business goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:8-12 years of experience in data management analysis, with at least the last four years serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and point of contact at the Air Force level5-7 years leading technical teams within an application area, working individually and completing data analysis efforts as part of a team5-7 years of data governance experience, including data modeling, data dictionary, and data definition tools like Collibra or MS Purview.5-7 years of data analytics and data visualization experience with systems such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or ADVANA5-7 years leading technical teams within an application area, working individually and setting/meeting task/project milestones2-3 years of experience administering data analysis projects in support of systems such as the Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) and Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR).Experience applying knowledge of database management systems in supporting the Air Force Acquisition Process.Experienced in empowering users and educating stakeholders on application capabilities through developing training materials, including video, audio, print, and live demos.Experience coordinating updates to DoD databases for accurate data reports in real-time for decision-makers and the program management office (PMO)Experience implementing, rationalizing, and maintaining enterprise-wide databasesExperience preparing and delivering accurate, concise, and timely communication (e.g., briefings, e-mails, and memos) for senior government officials.Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):* Must be local to DC *
