Job Title:Data Marketplace Lead Salary:$140,000 + Stock Options
Location:Cleveland, Ohio (Relocation Assistance Provided) Unfortunately for this position we cannot provide sponsorship or work with C2C agreements. We are seeking a seasoned Data Marketplace Architect with a minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in a Governance focused Solutions Architect role. This individual will be working closely within the Enterprise Data Team, focusing on the architecture and implementation of data products. This will be an integral part of standing up the data marketplace that will host automated tools for reports, dashboards, and data science products for enterprise business needs. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background in data fabric or data mesh implementation.
In addition, it is important to have expertise delivering business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions for enterprise organizations, coupled with exceptional soft skills to effectively translate between business requirements and technological solutions. Familiarity with the data marketplace ecosystem, including data products and consumption lifecycle, is highly desired.
Key Requirements:Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in leadership roles within Data Strategy, Data Management, Data Governance or Data Quality.Expertise working with Collibra Data Marketplace or Data Intelligence Platform, or similar alternatives with Informatica, IBM, Databricks, etc.Proven expertise in data fabric or data mesh implementation at an enterprise level, including proficiency with relevant tools and technologies.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working within the data marketplace domain is preferred, with a deep understanding of data products and their consumption lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of data marketplace solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital Transformation, Data Science, Business Intelligence & Analytics, and Data Strategy) to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient technical solutions.Drive the development of data products and oversee their lifecycle management within the marketplace ecosystem.Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including Coordinators, in executing architectural plans and implementing best practices.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment of priorities.
