Chief Administrative Office (CAO) plays a critical role in leading Citi's Transformation initiatives, which represent the bank's top priorities globally at an enterprise wide level. This includes Citi's Data Governance Plan, which is being developed to bring the bank forward to per the direction set in Citi's Enterprise Data Strategy. The CAO, in partnership with the Chief Data Governance Office (CDGO), will be focused on delivering against the commitments outlined in the Data Governance Plan including a governance framework, as well as a number of foundational data capabilities.
Data Enablement project management/business analysts will ensure that the projects/programs they are involved in are completed on time, to specification and within budget. They will ensure that all project/programs members deliver as required to meet committed deadlines and where concerns/risks are identified these are escalated in time for corrective action to the taken and the initial deadlines met wherever possible. These leads will play an integral role in ensuring stakeholder adoption of specific business outcomes of the data governance plan. As such, the project management/business analysts will need to wear multiple hats, including: project manager; business analyst; relationship manager; and data/system analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall program/project delivery management
Understand the key business deliverables required for a program/project and the associated dependencies on other programs to ensure all dependencies are actively managed
Support the adoption of strategic data constructs by Risk/Controls and/or Finance/Treasury transformation programs
Develop, refine, and ensure rebaselined detailed milestone plans are available for all important deliverables and that interdependencies are understood and addressed
Address potential barriers to timely execution before they impact critical path delivery. Ensure proactive management of deliverables such that issues/risks are escalated promptly in order to allow for timely remediation and delivery of the project/program as scheduled
Oversee and perform business/systems analysis activities in support of targeted projects to support adoption efforts
Ensure clear and transparent reporting of project/program status, risks/issues, and stakeholder management updates to senior executives
General Project Activities:
Partner with program/project teams and functional groups (Risk, Finance, Technology, Compliance, and Front-Office) to drive execution of requirements, training, and ensuring compliance with Citi standards
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including program sponsors, program leads, and team members across all levels.
Execute against multiple contending priorities simultaneously, performing the required combination of business analysis, project management, systems analysis, and stakeholder management tasks
Guarantee compliance with the PM standard procedures and with all applicable tools used for program and project management (including, but not limited to, issue/risk tracking and escalation, and scorecard/metrics)
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
Consulting or Project/Program Delivery experience in the financial services industry is required, including 5+ years of combined project management, business analysis, and systems analysis efforts
Exemplary written and oral communication skills required, ability to synthesize key messages
Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management preferred
Ability to see the "big picture" while thriving with activities requiring close attention to detail
Good influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills
Ability to "roll up sleeves" and serve as a "player coach"
Need for 'intellectual curiosity', critical thinking skills and ability to raise difficult questions
Bachelor's degree and demonstrable delivery skills are the most critical qualification for these roles
Process reengineering and process mapping experience preferred, along with a proven track record of successfully managing meaningful portions of large, complex and transformative projects
The candidate must be able to work with teams as well as independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This role requires multi-tasking, organization and the ability to quickly acquire and comprehend the required knowledge
