Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) is seeking a Data Science Analyst to support their Research and Evaluation Department.The analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining technology systems for efficient data collection and dissemination. They will synthesize and share data to help the organization make informed decisions and understand its impact.This is a great opportunity for someone with a data analytics or business intelligence background to contribute to a frontline organization with comprehensive services.

Responsibilities
• Identify and utilize appropriate data sources to answer key business intelligence questions• Build cross-functional relationships and incorporate stakeholders' reporting and analytics needs into data insight designs• Derive actionable insights from data and communicate findings through reports and dashboards• Support the development, administration, and maintenance of data management and reporting systems• Monitor data quality and establish standards through policies and procedures• Provide technical support and training to stakeholders• Schedule: Monday through Friday (9am - 5pm)• Work schedule: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related subject; master's degree preferred• 2+ years of data-related experience, preferred in academic or non-profit setting• Experience building dashboards in Tableau and understanding of data visualization principles• Analytical ability and knowledge of programming language (SQL, R, Python, etc.) and statistical modeling• Experience with Salesforce and Qualtrics is a plus for this position• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate data to technical and non-technical audiences
