Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include: Train, test, and deploy machine learning and AI models in Python on Spark Develop, construct, test, and maintain data engineering pipelines using Spark on AWS to unify data from multiple sources in support of diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive modeling Implement code control and revision using CI/CD data pipelines in Gitlab Maintaining a production grade code base with clear documentation and testing Analyze data to optimize process and product performance, increase yields, and reduce costs Collaborate with engineers, developers, and data scientists to establish and refine requirements for data and analytics Qualifications: Currently pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or relevant degree (Graduate degree preferred) Minimum 3.0 GPA Proficiency with Python Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with Git, SQL Experience with common Data Science libraries in Python (pandas, sklearn, pytorch, keras, matplotlib or similar) Understanding of Apache Spark High curiosity and a passion for data Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization skills and attention to detail
