As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work with vast amounts of structured data to gain insights into how our employees engage with our training and service offerings. You will lead projects from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and ultimately providing actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will contribute to the design, building, and maintenance of data flows to support the next generation of reporting tools and influence data strategies that promote efficient solutions and scalable plans. Coaching end users on how to interpret and utilize metrics will also be part of your role, as well as collaborating with teams to convert data insights into impactful actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess 5+ years of experience in strategic analytics or data science development roles
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or relevant technical fields, or have equivalent practical experience
Proficient in data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R
Familiarity with experimental design and measurement strategies
Experience with analytics, change management, design-thinking, program and project management
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and extract valuable insights from large datasets using data science techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in quantitative disciplines such as Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Operations Research
Proven success in leveraging data to drive business value and present data-driven insights
Experience building strong cross-functional relationships to achieve business goals
Skilled at communicating and influencing both technical and non-technical audiences (engineers, data scientists, program managers, product owners)
Familiarity with developing data pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL frameworks
Background working with Learning & Development data challenges
Self-motivated with experience working in ambiguous settings and driving projects with minimal guidance
