RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Data Scientist in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Denver, CO.Role Overview:As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing current models for real-time call analysis. You will collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy models and ensure the efficient deployment of models. You will also play a crucial role in securing the environment, monitoring the flow of architecture, and ensuring the efficient deployment of models.Responsibilities:
The Data Scientist will enhance and optimize current models for sentiment analysis, call summarization, intent identification, and competition detection
Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain models
Implement and maintain a secure environment for the Data Science team
As a Data Scientist, you will support the entire organization with cloud-related tasks
Perform ad hoc work as required to support the team and organization
About This Team:This team is dedicated to leveraging AI to develop real-time speech solutions. They focus on call center data, recording calls and converting them to transcripts for post-call analysis. The team is at the forefront of implementing real-time analysis for call centers, aiming to analyze calls from all 20,000 agents in real-time.Key Projects:
Enhancing and optimizing current models for real-time call analysis
Building new models for sentiment analysis, call summarization, intent identification, and competition detection
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of experience in a similar Data Science role
Experience working with SQL databases
Experience with GenAI or similar AI technologies
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs)
Familiarity with Small Language Models (SLMs)
Proficiency in NLP techniques and tools
Strong programming skills in Python
Ability to prompt engineering (asking good questions to refine models)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
