FocusKPI is seeking smart, curious, technically savvy, and experienced candidates to join our cutting-edge internal data science team. The data science team at FocusKPI builds models and machine learning algorithms that power all our clients' ad-tech/mar-tech products at scale, develops methodology and tools to precisely and effectively measure market campaign effects, and researches in-house and public data sources for consumer spending behavior insights.

In this role, you'll spearhead the company's advanced predictive modeling and analytical innovation to bring the analytical capability to the next level. In addition, you'll be expected to play an essential role in carrying out the R&D agenda and in product deliveries for different businesses on time and quality.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US
Duration: 6 months contract
Pay Range: $80k to $100k/annum

Responsibilities: Support clients' modeling needs, including maintenance, enhancing existing measurement and targeting solutions, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.Develop innovative and automated solutions for custom needs leveraging appropriate AI/ML/statistical tools.Mine large consumer datasets in the cloud environment to support ad hoc business and statistical analysis.Provide analytical/statistical support for marketing test design, campaign measurement, and market insights to clients and stakeholders.Communicate the methodologies and the results to the management, clients, and other non-technical stakeholders.Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics or other fields requiring advanced data modeling and analytics training.Deep understanding and solid knowledge of the fundamentals of statistical reasoning and ML models.Experience with causal inference, marketing mix models, and multi-touch attribution models is highly valued.An added advantage is familiarity with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and generative AI.Skilled in conceptualizing complex business problems and designing practical, effective modeling and analytical solutions to address them.Proficiency in common programming languages such as Python and SQL.Experienced and comfortable working with standard big data tools, including cloud platforms, database technologies, and parallel processing frameworks.Entrepreneurial, highly self-motivated, collaborative, keen attention to detail, willing and capable to learn quickly, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment.Great communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).Thank you!
