Internship Eligibility Requirements

·       3.0+ GPA
·       Currently pursuing an Master's or PhD on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university
·       Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer
·       Have at least 1 semester left (post-internship)
·       Major, experience, or demonstrable interest in the position you apply for

In this exciting opportunity you will be working with our Global Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (GAIA) Team. This central unit is chartered with the responsibility of building a high-end competence center that brings together a team of high-end Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers and ML Architects towards the goal of improving Ericsson's products and services portfolio with AI capabilities.

What you will do

-       Define the problem from use cases and the voice of internal customers in AI/ML domain
-       Collect, distill, and label data
-       Design and train machine learning models
-       Contribute to rapid and iterative development of minimum viable products
-       Contribute to IP creation for Ericsson in AI/ML

You will bring

-       Pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or equivalent
-       Skilled in hands-on projects using Pytorch
-       Ability of understanding deep learning papers (e.g., CVPR, ICML, etc.) and implementing the ideas
-       Experience in computer vision projects is a plus
-       Publication in the field of computer vision or deep learning is a big plus

This position reports to Director Data Science.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
•    Washington, New York, and New Jersey: $28 - $35
•    California: $28 - $38
•    All other US locations: $26 - $32
