Title: Data Steward 3 Location: Portland, OR Duration: 9-12 month contract Pay Range: $53.55 - $56.77 per hour This position will provide experienced data and program management to our Portland-based Client to bring SharePoint Resources up to date with organizational goals. The SharePoint sites were recently migrated to SharePoint 2019 and are due for cleanup, re-organization, and validation. This position will entail working closely along side leadership and the current SharePoint Support team to cleanup and organize the SharePoint site post-migration and provide advice on permission structures. This position will also design and deliver SharePoint trainings to staff.
Position Responsibilities: Input, verify, transfer and upload data to systems. Verify the structure, accuracy or quality of warehouse data. Provide or coordinate troubleshooting support for data warehouses. Perform data cleanup. Map data between source systems, data warehouses and data marts. Write new programs or modify existing programs to meet customer requirements, using current programming languages and technologies. Design, implement, or operate comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements. Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction. Create or implement metadata processes and frameworks. Create plans, test files, and scripts for data warehouse testing, ranging from unit to integration testing. Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow. Design and implement BPA management approved warehouse database structures. Design, operate or implement BPA management approved comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements. Develop and implement data extraction procedures from other systems, such as administration, billing, or claims. Develop or maintain standards, such as organization. Structure, or nomenclature, for the design of data warehouse elements, such as data architectures, models, tools, and databases. Develop and recommend business rules for storage procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts. Position Requirements: Education & Corresponding Experience A bachelor's or associate degree in data management, data analysis, or a related field is preferred. 6 years of experience is required with a bachelor's degree in applicable fields. 8 years of experience is required with an associate degree in applicable fields. 10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree. 3 years of expert level SharePoint 2019 design and support experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to track deliverables from multiple individuals. Experience providing or facilitating trainings. Required Technical Skills & Experience Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint or similar. Design knowledge of Nintex Forms. Strong customer service skills (customer facing, phone, Outlook, and virtual). Experience creating project management tracking of deliverables, timelines, and reports. Experience supporting individuals with creating content (providing content templates, tips, proofreading, etc.) Ability to assess training needs and propose options to address needs. Preferred Skills & Experience Prior experience designing and delivering SharePoint training to a variety of user levels. Familiar with use of Skype Experience with Visio and process maps.
