Pay Grade/Pay Range:   Minimum: $18.32 - Midpoint: $21.97 (Hourly N4)
Department/Organization: 214154 - Safe State Consultation
Normal Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary:  The Data Technician prepares and maintains files and reports. Shreds and archives confidential case file documentation scheduled for removal and disposal. Maintains and updates system, files, and directory management and data transmittal.
Additional Department Summary:  Manages a largely paperless file system for the OSHA consultation program within UA SafeState, which includes creating and updating confidential files. Governs the file sharing system. Interacts daily with a proprietary government data system, as required by statute and the OSHA Consultation grant. Represents UA SafeState on matters of data system management with grantor agency. Works with program consultants to support data access needs and report development. Prepares reports for the program director. Performs other IT based support assistance to program staff. Assists with webinar management. Provides systems training and back-up for other administrative staff. Performs miscellaneous office duties. Provides backup support as needed.
Required Minimum Qualifications:  High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of administrative experience; OR associate's degree.
Skills and Knowledge:  Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications used for data management and reporting (e.g., Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:  Knowledge and experience working with OIS, a proprietary data system.
