Job Description Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will be a part dynamic team that supports Enterprise Scale Infrastructure consisting of hybrid environment.
Responsible for ownership of databases and web applications that supports various customer base.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain, administer databases, and business applications running on MS SQL, MySQL, Azure Managed SQL instances, and database hosted on Linux server instances.
Analyze business applications, databases and web-based systems on-premises and in-cloud, document, and update SOPs, on configuration management and troubleshooting. Ensure change/configuration management practices are applied to the Database/application environment. Track, monitor, and support trouble tickets reported around database/business application environment. Track, monitor and optimize database performance. Maintain and operate MS IIS, WordPress and Apache webhosting services. Collaborate in scanning database vulnerabilities and assist security team for tracking and closing vulnerabilities reported around business applications and database servers. Evaluate and recommend database, business applications monitoring solutions to the business. Coordinate with System Engineering team and project manager for ensuring Database/Business Applications are compliant with FedRAMP requirements. Verify and validate database, business application backup and recovery operations. Perform in-depth troubleshooting for reported issues, provide root cause analysis and solution to reported problems. Identify long-term improvement opportunities to enhance database/business application management, cost, performance, and security. Maintain inventory - hardware/software for the assets that are related to database, business applications and provide in-time reporting as needed. Support customer requests around authentication, access, performance tickets reported in the IT service management (ServiceNow) platform. Regularly review and update service tickets. Required Skills

Possess and maintain in good standings recent certification related to the technology - Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator, MCSA for SQL 2019 or later. At least 6 years of experience managing diverse database and business application administration, troubleshooting and management. Demonstrated experience administering MS SQL, MySQL, Gitlab, Demonstrated experience reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining database[s]. Demonstrated experience identifying data sources, constructing data decomposition diagrams, providing data flow diagrams, and documenting the process. Demonstrated experience writing codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. Demonstrated experience developing and formulating standards, procedures, and conventions for database use.
Works with technical/programming staff to ensure database security. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
