Bussers/Runners are key members at Dave & Buster's - Schaumburg because they are able to ensure efficient workflow for the best guest experience and are considered a jack of all trades.
Because of this, it is important for Bussers/Runners to be team players.
Key responsibilities of a Busser/Runner:
Guest Service - though bussers may not interact with guests as often as other team members, they are still expected to communicate effectively when guests need their attentionProvide a friendly, relaxing, professional demeanor and assist servers as neededCleaning tables - removing plates, utensils, drinkware from tables and sanitizing all surfacesResetting tables in a timely manner for the next guestsCleaning various areas in and around the restaurantEmptying trash cansExpedite/run food to the correct tablesNotify management of any facility issuesClean up spills immediatelyInspect restrooms to make sure they are clean at all times
