Warehouse Associate 3 Emser Tile

Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate 3 (Picker) is responsible for picking all line orders and staging them for shipping
Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience) Picks product and builds a pallet to standardStages product on shipping dock according to shipping scheduleUtilizes RF Scanner to ensure accuracy of product Demonstrates how to accurately match shade numbers through label verificationDemonstrates when to create a new license plate and how to properly place on palletUtilizes and turns in breakage sheet on daily basisDemonstrates how to read item labels and identify product typeNavigates warehouse effectivelyCommits to learning, living, and promoting Emser Tile culture and valuesThrive in a busy environment, highly organized, and goal-orientedResults-driven and customer-focusedKnowledge of database and query functionsAbility to accurately read and respond to non-verbal communicationOutstanding leadership skills to include critical thinking, decision making, and listeningEmploys influence, relationship building, composure, and open communication tactics to build trust with internal and external customersExcellent basic math functions (piece to square foot calculations)Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels (written/verbal) and with customers1-3 years of experience in a Picking positionBi-lingual in Spanish is a plus Physical requirements Ability to work in Distribution Center environment (cold in the winter, hot in the summer)Ability to work in loud work environmentAbility to lift weight up to 100+ poundsAbility to see and hearAbility to use hands and armsAbility to work on a computer for long periods of timeAbility to bend and kneelForklift certification required Direct reports
