About the Company - Investment Banking client Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid) - About the Role - Role Overview: DDI/Infoblox Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid - 3 days in office per week) Pay Rate: $59/hr W2 Responsibilities Collaborate with solution architects, operations teams, developers, and fellow engineers to ensure a stable, documented, and supportable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure. Implement automation processes for plant management and testing using tools like Python and Ansible. Evaluate and recommend architectural, configuration, or code-level changes to improve system performance and stability. Serve as the top-tier escalation point, troubleshooting complex issues by coordinating with infrastructure and application teams. Engage with internal clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs. Qualifications Required Skills Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise DDI solutions (preferably Infoblox NIOS or alternatives like BIND, tinydns, ISC DHCP). Strong understanding of DNS & DHCP protocols and associated architectural best practices. Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, and SSL. Experience with automation tools for infrastructure management (e.g., Ansible, Python, shell scripting). Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and system administration. Preferred Skills Certifications related to Infoblox or other DDI platforms. Knowledge of DNS global service load balancing (e.g., F5 GTM, Infoblox DTC). Experience with network load-balancing technologies (e.g., F5, Cisco, A10, Arista). Familiarity with containerized and virtualized infrastructure setups. Proficiency with RESTful web APIs.
