The Deal Desk Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Sales Operations team, managing the end-to-end deal lifecycle with a focus on accurate bookings, renewal calculations, and optimizing pricing and discounting strategies. This position requires a high degree of analytical expertise, operational precision, and proficiency in handling complex datasets and CRM platforms to ensure the integrity of sales data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, and Accounting, to streamline deal approval workflows, enforce pricing policies, and support revenue growth by delivering actionable insights and operational excellence. **This is a hybrid role that will require some days in office each month**
\n ResponsibilitiesReview and process all sales deals, ensuring accuracy in pricing, prorations, and discounts.Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to structure and approve complex deals, including custom pricing arrangements and non-standard terms.Calculate renewal rates, mid-term adjustments, and pricing for contract amendments, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer agreements.Accurately enter and maintain deal and customer information in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), upholding the highest standards of data integrity and consistency.Develop and maintain tools and spreadsheets for analyzing deal performance, pricing strategies, margin analysis, and revenue impact.Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to ensure bookings align with revenue recognition policies (e.g., ASC 606) and support compliance audits.Identify and implement opportunities to optimize the deal desk process for greater efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.Provide support for quarterly and annual sales forecasting and reporting, delivering insights into pipeline health and deal trends.Ensure compliance with contracting and pricing policies, documenting approval processes and managing escalations for non-standard terms. Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, data science, or a related field.2+ years of experience in sales operations, finance, or a deal desk role within a SaaS environment.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is required.Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a track record of ensuring data accuracy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Experience4+ years of experience in sales operations, finance, or a deal desk role in a SaaS environment.Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or SQL, with the ability to create or enhance tools for data analysis and process automation.Experience in MedDevice SaaS or within a high-growth technology company.Familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and SaaS pricing models.Demonstrated ability to navigate and prioritize competing demands with poise, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
\n$75,000 - $105,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience.
