Position Overview:
Hope Leadership Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced instructional leader to join our team as the Dean of Instruction. The Dean of Instruction will play a pivotal role in shaping our instructional program, supporting our dedicated teachers, and ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for success in school and beyond.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with the school leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive instructional vision and plan that aligns with our school's mission and goals. Provide instructional leadership and support to teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among instructional staff. Lead curriculum development efforts, ensuring alignment with state standards, best practices, and the needs of our diverse student population. Analyze student data to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform instructional decisions. Oversee the implementation of assessments and data analysis protocols to measure student learning and inform instructional planning. Support the integration of technology into instruction to enhance student engagement and achievement. Cultivate partnerships with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Education or related field required; Master's degree is preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional leadership roles, preferably in an elementary school setting. Deep understanding of elementary curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members. Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education. Knowledge of best practices in social-emotional learning and culturally responsive teaching. Proficiency in data analysis and using data to drive instructional decision-making.
