Saint Francis University is a small, private, liberal arts institution in the Catholic, Franciscan tradition. Saint Francis University is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual who will demonstrate the highest level of executive leadership in driving the future direction, promotion, and advancement of the Division of Professional Studies (DPS) online programs, adult and professional studies, and workforce development. The Dean is directly responsible to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the management and administration of the Division of Professional Studies, including planning and budgeting, the hiring of faculty and staff, management of internal and external communication, and the design of innovative programs and curriculum delivery methods.
The Dean shall possess a doctoral degree, or at a minimum, a terminal degree in the field and have relevant experience in administration, teaching, and design of educational programs. A minimum of eight years in online and/or adult education. Grant writing experience a plus. Knowledge of trends in higher education online and adult learning and of enrollment management trends and efforts nationally and internationally.
