Summary This job is responsible for the operation of the upstream optical equipment and defect removal systems in the facility. The Defect Systems Operator has primary responsibility for product quality with regard to defects.
It is imperative that the Defect Systems Operator conducts himself/herself in a manner that ensures alertness and constant awareness of the safe operation of equipment and its surroundings.
Key Responsibilities Fully understand the purpose and operation of the upstream optical equipment and defect removal systems along with having the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates. Responsible for making appropriate adjustments, corrections in equipment settings, and ensuring proper sanitation of equipment to effectively meet defect targets without excessive product loss. Typical Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Experience 1+ years related experience and/or training
Other Information Must be qualified as a Fry Plant Assistant Process Operator or Fry Plant Sanitation II for one year. Must demonstrate computer skills. Must have an acceptable safety record. Must have an acceptable attendance record. Job Requisition ID: 18900
