JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the organization and transport of bulk deliveries to various locations.
The driver makes sure that all product ordered is delivered when available and communicates any shortages to both production kitchen and receiving kitchen.
Delivery driver takes responsibility for product during loading, delivery, and unloading.
Punctuality and dependability a MUST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review daily packing listLoad order making sure to follow rule of first in first out; organize and rotate remaining product.Create and print product invoice(s)Follow route and time scheduledOperate company vehicle(s) in accordance with traffic laws.Notify shop MOD of any product shortagesUnload product carefullyConfirm that all products invoiced are presentRetrieve containers/buckets/binsComplete finished goods inventoryMop and sanitize delivery vanRefill gas tank as necessarySimple routine vehicle maintenance
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Must be 18+ years of age to work at a Tatsu-Ya locationValid food handlers permit (cost to obtain reimbursed by the company)Valid driver's licenseClean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to:
Ability to lift 50-60 plus lbs many times during a shiftStand for extended periods of timeSit for extended periods of timeWalk on uneven surfaces.Must be able to: bend, stoop, and lift on a regular basis throughout shift including, but not limited to:Carrying:Kitchen utensils, service plates (25# stacks)Food and produce items up to and exceeding 60# (assistance is recommended for items exceeding 50#)Cans, jars, and bucketsLifting:Lift and carry sacks, crates, and cases up to and exceeding 60# and may need to place these items on high shelves, carts, or tables.Pushing/Pulling:Up to and exceeding 30-60# push/pull pressure.
