Delivery Driver

Job Summary: Compensation: $19.33 - $24.18 / hour

The Delivery Driver is responsible to assist DC management in efficiently carrying out warehouse operations that include but are not limited to order fulfillment, receiving and stock of materials, customer deliveries, warehouse organization, and inventory maintenance.

Responsibilities/Duties: Deliver goods to customer specified sites utilizing company transport vehicles as neededConfirm delivery information with the customer before the delivery leaves the warehousePhysically load and unload goods at each site in a safe and secure manner utilizing provided equipment if availableEnsure loads are properly secured prior to transportAs requested by DC management pick-up goods from suppliersUnload and receive stock replenishment materials into warehousePut away received goods according to company receiving policiesNote any damaged goods in the receiving process and notifyEnsure clear and safe passage in all warehouse aisles and loading docksReport all unsafe storage and equipment issues to DC management immediatelyAssist in order entry, if needed, via computer sales order programPull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashionPerform multiple quality control checks to ensure accuracy of shipped goodsAssist in conducting physical inventories and cycle countingProvide exceptional customer serviceEnsure a clean and safe environment in regards to all working conditionsObserve all safety guidelines including but not limited to DOT, OSHA, and company policies and regulationsParticipate in all safety training and maintain required safety certificationsOther duties as beneficial to IDI Leadership Competencies: Leads SelfCommunicates Effectively & CandidlyDrives for ResultsDemonstrates AccountabilityTakes InitiativeCollaborates Qualifications/Skills: Operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and shrink wrapperIdentify product numbers and alpha/numeric codesMust meet physical requirements of the positionUse/learn computer order entry and inventory systemsAchieve set goals in a timely mannerTrain others Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience1+ years' experience in warehouse facility preferred2-4+ years' experience operating a commercial vehicle including a straight box truck preferredForklift experience preferredLicensures and Other RequirementsMust meet all DOT, State and/or Legal requirements that pertain to this position
