WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to customers. Your primary duties will include:
Setting, reviewing and reconciling periodic demand plans including assortments, flow, drops, stock-keeping unit productivity and allocations to maximize revenues and minimize closeout inventory
Taking the lead in demand management by communicating purchase position, forecast variances, and prioritizing, negotiating and resolving category-specific inventory issues
Analyzing demand and delivery performance by building inventory management awareness, analyzing inventory data and KPIs, managing and tracking key targets on inventory and delivery performance
Demonstrating operational excellence through utilizing planning tools, understanding their dependencies and associated systems, communicating accurately, and comprehending KPIs to drive continuous improvement
WHAT YOU BRING
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience in a similar demand planning role. However, we will also consider candidates with advanced degrees requiring less experience or relevant associates degrees and high school diplomas with additional years of experience.
We are specifically looking for someone with assortment planning experience that can quickly take on planning responsibilities within our North America Value Stores division. Previous stores planning experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who excels at building cross-functional partnerships to gain experience at our organization.
