Our client is seeking a Dental Assistant to join the team. The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for the doctor. Other functions include sustaining patient comfort, listening to patients' needs, and educating them on dental procedures and care, working efficiently to maintain doctor's schedule while adhering to all OSHA safety policies and procedures.
This position is being offered as Full-Time (4 days a week). Essential responsibilities include: Highly qualified candidates will possess most or all of the following: High School Diploma or equivalent?? Completion of a Dental Assistant program or 1 year dental experience desired.? Radiology licensed in the State of PA and CPR certified required.? A current Pennsylvania EFDA certificate, preferred.
Prior working knowledge of Dental Electronic Medical Record System, preferred. Proven capability to prepare dental equipment and instruments? Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and build relationships with patients in a professional and pleasant manner.? Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for the provision of dental outpatient services and laws regarding dentistry.?? Demonstrate exemplary problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.? Exemplary organizational skills and ability to prioritize.? Unconditional ability to maintain patient confidentiality?
