Job Description

Coordinates the daily activities of the dental associates.
Maintains equipment, supplies, operatory area(s), and delivery of quality dental services.
Job Responsibility

Prepares operatory prior to examination/treatment by setting up instruments consistent with procedure to be performed.
Assists dentist at chair-side during examination and treatment of patients with suctioning, reflecting tissues, passing instruments, and the preparation and handling of dental materials and medicaments.
Performs dental laboratory procedures including, model pouring and trimming and fabricating mouth guards.
Develops and maintains dental x-rays during patient procedures.
Cleans, bags, and sterilizes instruments used and is responsible for tray set-ups.
Assists in ordering, stocking, and dispensing inventory items, and maintaining the inventory control system.
Maintains equipment, supplies, and overall clinical facility as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
May participate in training of department's dental assisting students, as directed by management.
Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
2-3 years of Dental Assistant experience, strongly preferred.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
The salary range for this position is $41,780-$64,340/year
