We are currently seeking an experienced oral surgery, dental assistant to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice.

Perks and Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurancePaid maternity leaveHoliday pay, PTO + additional gifted hoursOngoing training and career development opportunitiesOrganization wide and Dental Assistant specific social events$100 annual scrub allowance401(k) retirement plan Responsibilities: Assisting the oral surgeon during dental surgeries and procedures, including extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, and biopsiesSterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocolsTaking and developing dental x-rays, 3D scans, and digital images as required by the oral surgeonEducating patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions, including medication usage, diet restrictions, and oral hygiene practicesMaintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulationsAssisting in maintaining and ordering dental supplies, equipment, and inventory

Requirements

1 year of experience as a dental assistant requiredX-ray certification requiredOral surgery experience preferredFamiliarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Salary Description

up to $28/hour
