Dental Hygienist

Fast-paced private dental practice in Houghton Lake is looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist for our growing practice.
Multi-doctor office has exceptional benefits, including medical, dental, 401k with employer matching, PTO, as well as, CE assistance.
Desiring full-time (4-5 days) .
No evenings/weekends.




Qualifications:


* Proven experience as Dental Hygienist


* Outstanding communication skills, patient and friendly personality


* Attention to detail


* Diploma in Dental Hygiene and a valid license to practice


* Dental Hygienist License (Required)


* CPR license


* Responsibilities:


* Identify and help patient manage conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis


* Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history


* Remove plaque, polish and apply fluoride


* Sterilize, manage instruments properly and with care


* Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination


* Educate patients on proper teeth care, including restorative options


* Take diagnostically sound X-rays or dental impressions


* Maintain digital documentation and charts on each patient daily


* Monitor supplies




Job Type: Full-time




Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
